Ronnie Allen

Allen started off his professional football playing career at West Brom in 1950 and soon established himself as a fine right winger at the club. He helped Albion win the 1954 FA Cup final and earned the accolade at the end of the 1954 -1 955 season as the first division top goal scorer. After scoring an incredible 234 goals while at Albion, he finished his career off playing for Crystal palace.

John McNichol

McNichol started off his successful professional playing career at Newcastle United before signing on to play for Brighton and Hove Albion. He joined Chelsea soon after and helped the blues win the league title at the end of the 1954 – 1955 season. He made over 200 appearances for Chelsea before moving on to play for Crystal palace, signing for the club in March 1958.
