Chris Armstrong
Armstrong started off his career playing for Wrexham between 1989 and 1991. After a successful 1991 – 1992 campaign playing for Millwall, he signed for Crystal Palace in the summer of 1992 and soon became prolific in font of goal for the club, scoring over 50 goals at palace in around 125 appearances. In March 1995, he moved to White Hart Lane for £4.5 million and went on to make over 150 appearances for Spurs.
Alan Pardew
Pardew started off his professional playing career late, at the age of 25 years old when he made his debut in 1987 for Crystal Palace. At Palace, he helped the club gain promotion in to the first division and scored the winning goal in a semi final match against Liverpool that earned Palace a ticket in to the 1990 FA Cup final against Manchester united. He left Palace in 1991 to play for Charlton before finishing his playing career with Barnet FC between 1995 and 1997. |
